  • I always loved this show. I knew damn well as a mid that this was a rip on batman and other superheros, but it was well made, comical, and the characters were reasonably fresh and not clone copies of their inspirations. I however never saw this episode. Never even knew it existed. I wonder what other episodes I may have missed.

"Our" Lois accidentally is transported into this world.

  • Given the batman refrences, I wonder if the episode of batman TAS where Commissioner Gordan finds batgirl heavily wounded and learns she's his daughter was a influencing factor, given he went off the rails in pursuit of Batman. (Of course this was a bitesize summary and won't reveal spoilers on it, though say was disappointed in how it was concluded) In comparison Darkwing goes a similar route when he thinks he lost his daughter.

  • Doug. The thing about this show that I detest-and others too-is how unlikable Darkwing is, and how he and Goslyn compete for the the "honor" of being the biggest one on the show. I think the reason you like this series so much is because you LOVE the style and what they were aiming for-even if it did not succeed. For a general audience (and myself) I conclude with the same verdict as Frank Miller's movie The Spirit: Too silly to be taken serious and too serious to be funny.

Reboot Darkwing had his vices and virtues split into two separate characters. I'm not sure how a Darkwing Duck who is a pure, earnest hero will play is they intend to stick with that version.
